The blog I used to maintain (if by maintain I mean, “not maintain”), is no longer accessible.
And that really is a crying shame.
It had almost 6 posts, I think. 1 of them had two promises (1- finishing my ORCA project and 2) which I fulfilled. Another contained my shock at learning that Rome was sacked by Goths. And then there was the proudest moment of my 1-month stint as a “blogger,” which had a useful technical tidbit explaining how to get Windows XP to give an “Open Console Window Here” selection when right-clicking in Windows Explorer*.
Readership count: 3 distinct persons. 1 being me. Another being my friend Hilton, who gave me the webspace. And also his at-the-time-girlfriend-but-now-wife Jocelyn. Oh, I think there might have been a few others too, but who is counting?
Anyway, this is round 2 at maintaining a blog, hence First Blog Post #2. Goals? Not descend into the narcissism that are most blogs of no-technical content by 1) not thinking I’m all that because I figured out how to type and “get published” and 2) include technical content. A side bonus would be not encouraging rape of the English language by performing such a heinous act myself.
* – To anyone needing a hit done, I would kill to have similar functionality in Mac OS (note: I would not actually kill anyone for that).
